Easter blues

Just realised that this year is probably going to be my first easter with out an easter basket. I was very saddened by this thought. So I am trying to think of something to do that wont cost anything, or will distract from my work. Oh well.... I was just sad thinking about this. Oh well....... I might just have to buy easter candy for myself and hide a basket until sunday.

On a happier note, today I had off, and spent time with my roommate Krystyna. We went to Disney's MGM and saw the pep rally, the parade and the Disney's playhouse show. I wanted to see what there was for Dominic's age range and I was not disappointed. When he isdown here we will see the playhouse Disney show, and Krystyna told me that she might be able to make a meet and greet for us and Bear... Bear in the big blue house... she works on the show. I think that Dominic would love to see bear. Also I need to make sure that we buy two little fans to strap to his buggy so he at least is cool. Cant have acranky baby because of the heat. There are pleanty of other reasons for Dominic to be cranky.

I have to go now cause I have work tomorrow.... andI will need to get a full nights rest.

Ok today I learned how to clock in and out. Yay! which of course means I am getting paid!!! Very big thing there as I need to pay rent sooner or later. Oh but I got to walk the entire park today and we learned about the different greetings in each section of the park. Yep.

Well if I havent said yet I am on Kilimanjaro Safaris. Thats right I get to drive the safari bus. Very loud laughter. Well I also get to point things out like the baby giraffe that we have. Apparently he is four months old and oh so sweet. His daddy was very protecting of him as we drove by today. And there are baby elephants! It's amazing how close we really do get. There was a male lion pacing, we were joking that the female (who was asleep right next to him) was making him wait before she got up to go hunt.

Oh and I want to clear up some misconception. There is only ONE Mickey Mouse! I dont care what you have heard in the past but that is the truth! Who better then to ask a Disney Cast Member? Maybe Mickey himself, but he's a mouse of few words at most times.

Well thats the news up to date here in Sunny Florida. Now for the weather...

To all you who keep tuning in, I have just recently moved to Florida. Today I have met my three room mates. Thats right I said room mates. Laura, Monica and Krystyna. There isn't that much to report today so I will post tomorrow as well and tell you more about working for Disney. That right DISNEY!!

In memory of a loving pet

This post is in loving memory of our beloved Oliver.

It is with a saddened heart that I am telling of Oliver's passing. He was loved by many, and will be missed by all.

Oliver became a member of our family, after one visit to the Leesburg Animal Shelter. Mom and I were in search of a guinea pig, and that's exactly what we found. His story was heart breaking and we knew that he had to be with us. The sad truth was that he was just over a year old, and he had been there for a year, his former owners had surrendered him. So for a year no body wanted this sweet boy. On our next visit we brought a strawberry, which he had never had. He wasn't sure what to do with it, but he ate all of it. On the third visit we were allowed to take him home with us. He became my pet on March 13 2003.

In the early fall of 2005 Oliver started to grow a lump. At first is was small and hardly noticeable, I thought he had bitten his lip and it had become swollen. It didn't go away. It started to grow, but it wasn't slowing him down or causing any pain. He was active, could eat and wasn't bothered by it. However in spring of 2006 it was larger then a quarter. We took him to a vet, to see what could be done. The vet tried to drain the lump, but it was solid. We were told that our only choice was to have it surgically removed. Oliver was not considered young anymore and a surgery like this would very likely have killed him. It still wasn't causing him pain so we left it alone. His lump continued to grow. In July of 2006 it started to cause him pain. Going to a different vet we were told that it could be lanced and a biopsy on the lump could be done. So we went ahead and did this. The results came back as Cancer. It wasn't going to spread to other places in his body, but it would continue to grow. To remove it would force him to under go facial reconstruction and he wouldn't have lived through that. We decided a life on pain medication was a better choice.

After several months of taking pain medication Oliver refused to take any more. He physically wouldn't take it. So we stopped giving it to him. During this time I was away in college, and my mother was his care giver. She has told me stories of how she would return home from a night of work, and as soon as he heard her, Oliver would squeal for her attention. More often then not he was louder then both the dogs. When I returned from school it was as if I had returned from the dead for him. He would talk to me long into the night and often during the day. It was two days after Christmas that the lump had almost totally covered his mouth. He couldn't eat anymore, and he had lost weight. That night I held him and told him that I would always love him, in this world and the next. The next evening mom and I discussed that it was time to let his rest. That very night we took him to the vet for the last time.

I loved him so much that I have to make this clear. Rather then watch his starve to death, a slow and pain-full demise, I let him fall asleep and simply not wake up. So it was on December 29 2006, close to ten o'clock pm that Oliver was carried in the arms of an Angel up to heaven. He was buried New Years Eve in the backyard of my Uncle John and Aunt Arlene along with the ashes of Jingles. I know that he is in a better place where he feels no pain and has no thirst. In heaven I know he is as he was before, lump free and adorably chubby.

I will always love you Oliver. In this wrold and the next.

May his peace be eternal and love everlasting.

Pizza Hut deserves to crash and burn!

First I have to say this. When ever my mom orderes pizza if I am eating it, she gets Pizza HUt because I really like it. Not any more!

Alright here is what happened. I was told by mom that at 4:30 to call Pizza Hut and order two pizzas, and when it arrived waker her up because she had to work tonight. So at 4:30 I call and order two pizzas for delevery. I was told a price and the boy hung up. Well I realized that he didn't take my phone number. So I call back. He is giving me attitude but finally he understands that he doesn't know where to send my pizzas. So fine.

At around 5:30 the pizza still isn't here. I now have a massive headache. Mom calls them back to see where our pizza is. The woman with whom mom is speaking says that our pizzas are on their way. So thats great. Fifteen minutes go by, still no pizza. So Mom calls back. Apparently the little shit that first took my order down never had them made. There are no pizzas. SO the "Manager" tells mom that we will have them asap.

Mom is so mad by this calls back. Turns out the man she had been speaking to wasn't the manager. So he calls his Manager over for mom to finally speak to. He said that he does have two pizzas for us but the order was for CARRY OUT. I know I said DELVERy. So we are pissed. This man is now telling us that he will send it to us and that our price will be $19.52. Well tired of the run around and that fact that we had to place like three orders we told them that no we do not want their pizzas and that from now on we will be ordering from a different carrier.

Ok so I am not eating from Pizza Hut. Because their help is incompetent and they do not understand that if you are going to be working with people, then the basis of their work should be pleasing the customer.

About a week ago my friend MaBe has asked me to draw her tattoo for her, well I have finished my first drawing of it. Now all I have to do is draw it onto my computer. Looking really forward to picking the colors and seeing it finished. Well it'll be pretty, thats all I know.

Another thing I am looking forward to is my fall break. Mom and I are going on a trip together. We are going to the Caribbean! It'll be so great. Last time I was on a cruise the band ended up as the background for Girls gone Wild in Cancun. Not what was supposed to happen. The really cool thing is that we are also going to have time in Disney!

We will be there for a night of Mickey's not so scary Halloween party. I have this great dress that isn't from the right time period, but I am using it for that night... I am being my Great Grandmother.

Ok you might not understand why so I'll tell you. In the Haunted Mansion's ballroom scene one of the dancing women is in a blue dress and her hair is in ringlets, well according to mom she looks just like Great Grandma. So because I have this lovely blue dress I am going as her.It's going to be so great.

Ok... I was waiting for some friends to come over for a movie night, no one showed up. So I was waiting and waiting... I got tired of it so I turned on my tv. I flipped though some channles and ended up on CMT, Country Music Television, and there was this show. It was a reality show so I was about to flip it but it hooked me. These women had to be dancers, bartenders and entertainers. It was amazing to watch them. Just thinking what they went though.

The last week and I believe it was the last 8 women went to New Orleans and the final day was the grand reopening of the Coyote Ugly there. These women had to work in the bar, and dance on the bar. The bar isn't that wide either, just amazing. Well they were taught two dances "Sugar on me" and "Devil went down to Georgia". Both were so very cool to see. I cant help but kinda want to dance on the bar too. It looked like a lot of fun, also really hard work.

Even though I got to watch this great show I am very depressed. I didn't even get a phone call saying that they weren't coming. I just feel really alone right now. I'll get better about it, just kinda depressed. I'm going to sleep now cause I have to dance tomorrow.

I just found this out after dinner. My school's campus just hosted a very romantic wedding! We have this rose garden with a gazebo, and thats where it was held. How sweet is that? I mean really? It was being held at 7 so just when the sun is starting to set and the fire flies come out to play. I just thought that was too sweet to keep to myself.

Todays breakfast was so good I just had to tell everyone. Our Cafe is really good so I dont mind eating there. Today I had pancakes with peanutbutter, hashbrown patties, sasuage links all of that with maple syrup... I also had scrambled eggs and some luckycharms. I hade orange juice to drink. It was really good but I had class at 8 so I had to eat really quick. But I feel so great, I never knew how good breakfast really is. Hmmmm maybe if I had bothered in High school I would have been awake before noon. Yeah?

Ok so in my school all the freshmen have groups, I'm in 20 by the way, and the groups have to do a Lip Sync together. Incase someone from another group is reading this I wont tell you the nitty gritty until later, but I have to dress like I'm going to a club... um scratch that. How about going to a goth club and I want to be hit on by everything that moves. Ok I have to dress kinda skanky... so I have to deal with what I have oh dear however will I find something to wear??? Well anyway moving on. I only brought one pair of high heals and those are the some ones I used in Bill and Valeries wedding. Somehow I thought that neither would like it is I used those sweet gold shoes to look like a ho in.

So the quest for skanky heals began. Now you all know me. Do I buy shoes that I will only wear once? Excluding the ones that break. The answer is no. So these shoes have to be nice but able to look slutty. As Michelle would have said they have to be "Fuck me shoes" but still be able to be worn with other outfits and still look good. So I went to Goodwill. There I found the perfect pair! Miranda would be so proud... well maybe not the goodwill part but I dont care. I got these great boots the fit the part for $3.74. Yeah. How great is that?

I know that most people dont like to wear second hand clothes but you can find great deals in thrift stores or Goodwill. I say you need to give it a shot once cause who knows? You might just find something you really really wanted. Like my boots. There was also this great leather jacket but it was a small. I can not fit into a small... there is no way. Oh and Cristina and I went to K-Mart looking for shoes for her, still didn't find any good ones, but we did see cute underwear from Joe Boxer. They had winking smily faces on them. Really really cute.

Oh and I know this sounds really weird but mommy bought me a dvd with doggies on it and I watch it everyday. There are puppies all over this video. It is puppies at play and there of course is a Doxie! I really miss my puppy and my piggie. I also miss my family very much. It has been a while and I am used to seeing mom everyday. I still talk to her everyday. Well I miss you all. Be safe.
